What to EXPECT

During the two-day course, you'll gain insights into the methods of mocap and understand the mocap process. But that's not all - the most exciting part of the workshop is the opportunity to suit up and perform in the mocap volume yourself.

You'll be guided through a real-world mocap shoot, working with a director and technicians to capture your performance, and receive witness reference video of scenes for your demo reel.

This experience will not only be a valuable addition to your acting resume, but it will also give you a taste of what it's like to work on a professional motion capture shoot.

· Mocap tech overview - Suit Assignment, Fitting & Setup

· “What’s in the box??” - Sensors, wifi, accessories

· Learn Noitom suit stringing and powering.

· Axis Studio Setup & Calibration

· Head Rig

· Take Body Sizes and Facial Capture Slates

What should I wear to the mocap workshop?

For best experience, wear athletic/loose fitting clothing with tennis shoes.

Do you need to have acting experience?

Yes, for the purposes of having the best experience and footage for demo reel, it is highly recommended that you have some acting background.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age restriction. However, if you or your child is under 16, please email us so that we can better accommodate.
